CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The F&M Bank Arena hit a new milestone today, with workers and local officials gathering for a topping out ceremony and tour of the facility.

The event marks the completions of the roof’s steel frame. Before the final steel beam went into place, it was signed by those in attendance for the event, including Clarksville Mayor Joe Pitts, County Mayor Jim Durrett and Sammy Stuard, President and CEO of F&M Bank.

Upon completion, the arena will hold approximately 6,000 fans for concerts, 5,500 for basketball games and 5,000 for hockey.

Originally scheduled to open in the fall of 2022, groundbreaking on the F&M Bank Arena was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is now set to open to the public in during the 2022-23 season.
