CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Republican Montgomery County Circuit Court Clerk Wendy J. Davis on Wednesday announced she will run for re-election.

Davis, who served over 25 years in the Circuit Court Clerk’s Office, 18 of those as chief deputy, was elected as the Circuit Court clerk on Nov. 3, 2022.

Davis has been a Clarksville resident since 1979, after her father was stationed at Fort Campbell, and she has called Montgomery County home ever since. She graduated from Northwest High School in 1990 and in 1996 began her career with the Circuit Court Clerk’s Office.

She is campaigning on her many years of experience as the chief deputy and as the duly elected Circuit Court clerk, along with her professionalism and work ethic.

Davis said she is proud to serve the people of Montgomery County. “It has been the privilege of my life to serve the community I love as your Circuit Court clerk, and I would be honored to continue serving,” she said.

Davis has two sons, Brennen and Trey.
