UPDATE: 1 critically injured in 3-vehicle wreck on 101st Parkway

Update, 3 p.m.: 101st Parkway is clear and back open.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – One person was critically injured, and others were hurt, in a three-vehicle wreck on 101st Airborne Division Parkway Saturday morning.

At about 10:26 a.m., the vehicles crashed in the westbound lanes of 101st between Peachers Mill Road and Ringgold Road, according to Clarksville Police spokesman Scott Beaubien.

One of the injured was being taken by LifeFlight helicopter to Nashville.

Investigators from the Fatal Accident Crash Team were responding.

“Westbound lanes of the 101st have been reduced to one lane and CPD is asking the public to find alternate routes until the roadway can be completely cleared,” Beaubien said.

No further information has been released.
