John Thomas “J.T.” Fykes, Jr., age 48, of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021.
J.T. was born May 22, 1973, in Clarksville, TN, to Mayfield Mallory Fykes and the late John Thomas Fykes, Sr.
In addition to his mother, J.T. is survived by his special friend, Denise Henderson; son, Jamarion Fykes; two daughters, Denice Henderson and Elizabeth Henderson; four grandchildren, Azariah Caudle, Jakyla Henderson, Anthony Jefferson Henderson III, and Sanaa Johnson; aunts, Martha Jane Winrow, Nancy (John) Hill, Brenda Majors, and Sarah Mallory; uncle, Jimmy Leon Mallory; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mr. Fykes was a 1991 graduate of Clarksville High School and was a member of Mt. Herman Community Church. He had a love for sports and family, and was a loving son, father, and uncle. With J.T., you never knew what to expect!
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, December 23, at 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Pastor Mark A. Dowlen officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday, December 23, from 9:00 AM until the hour of service, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Leonardo Majors, Greg Winrow, Darian Jones, Cedric Myers, John Woodson, and David Amrhein.
