CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A small fire caused a big commotion today at Immaculate Conception School on Madison Street.
At 11:46 a.m., Clarksville Fire Rescue was called to a fire in the chapel at the school.
“It looks like they were doing some prayers in there and had some candles too close to the curtains. A breeze came in and ignited the curtains,” CFR Assistant Chief Michael Rios told Clarksville Now.
The fire was quickly extinguished, and there was some smoke damage. Teachers and students evacuated the building, and no injuries were reported, Rios said.
