Derwin Wayne Fairres, age 63, passed away on September 17, 2021, at Tennova Healthcare. He was born on December 31, 1957, in Deming, NM to Russell and Lillie Evans Fairres.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Kalyn Fairres; brother, Bryan Fairres; brothers-in-law: Bob Hearn and Jerry Turner, and sister-in-law, Loretta Fairres. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Theo Fairres; sons, John (Andrea) Suire and Derwin (Tasha) Fairres, Jr.; daughters, Michele (Marshall) Willis, Lillie (Ronald) Posey, and Amber Dunbar; siblings: Ada (Roy) Witt, Reba Hearn, Betty Turner, Debbie (Mike) Benton, Bruce (Kelly) Fairres, Jim (Kitty) Fairres, and Alvin (Loretta) Fairres; and 10 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Derwin enjoyed fishing and spending quality time with his family.
