Dorris Natalie Comer, age 97, of Clarksville, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Dogwood Bend Assisted Living.
Dorris was born May 2, 1924, in Montgomery County, TN, to the late Burney Herman Eads and Lennie Maria Baggett Eads. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward Taylor Comer.
Mrs. Comer was a bookkeeper at Jay Garment Company. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and Women of the Moose Chapter 1305.
A graveside service will be held Friday, September 10, at 12 p.m., at Greenwood Cemetery.
Dorris is survived by three nephews, Terry Comer, Ronald Comer, and Michael Isbell; and niece, Linda Cook.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Anna Shelby, who was Dorris’ wonderful friend and caregiver through her final days.
