Evelyn Dean Tucker, age 91 of Clarksville was welcomed into Heaven on Friday, September 3, 2021.
Evelyn was born, January 20, 1930, to the late Cecil F. Dean and Lucille F. Dean.
She was a Registered Nurse and provided services to the patients of John Ledbetter, M. D. for many years. Nursing was a big part of her life, and it was a profession that she was proud of. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Evelyn was reunited with her husband, Raphael Tucker, her first husband, Cecil Victor Balthrop, her sister Ann Dean Mann and her brother-in-law, Mike Smith. All preceded her in death.
Left to be thankful for knowing her is her brother, Glenn F. Dean (Shelia) her sisters, Christine D. Channell (Bill) Carolyn D. Haskins, and Debbie D. Smith. She also leaves behind a host of loving nieces and nephews.
Our sincere thanks to her devoted caregivers, Debbie Winters, Sharlet Moyer, and Donna Boring. They were indeed gifts from God. We would be remiss if we did not add a heart-felt thanks to Steve Rentfro, son-in-law of Christine and Bill Chanell. Steve stepped in and fulfilled God’s promise, that there are Angels among us. Thank, you Steve, for being Evelyn’s Angel.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 9, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery.
