Constance “Connie” Leonard, age 74, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at Ascension St. Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN.
She was born January 18, 1947, in Fayetteville, NC, the daughter of the late Austin Thomas Sr. and Pauline McMillan Thomas. Connie was a homemaker and is a member of Lane Tabernacle CME Church in Hopkinsville, KY
. Survivors include her children Eddie McMillan, Victor Leonard (Pamela), Jecory Leonard, Deirdra Lewis, and DeShonda Leonard. Also, surviving are sisters Sally Thomas and Jackie Weston and a brother Austin Thomas Jr. as well as eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband James Leonard and brothers Anthony McMillan and Rodney Thomas. The family is planning a celebration of Connie’s life at a later date.
