CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Weston Johnson, a 9-year-old boy fighting for his life in Clarksville, saw one of his biggest wishes come true last week.

A student at Mt. Carmel Elementary, Johnson has been fighting against Ewing sarcoma for the past year.

Ewing sarcoma is a form of cancer that forms in soft tissue and bones. He’s undergone several surgeries and treatments and has had his right shoulder blade and joint removed.

Weston recently asked for a lifted, big-tired blue golf cart with speakers, lights and plenty of seats for his family.

With the help of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Middle Tennessee, Mikey’s Motors and Sign Gypsies, Weston was given exactly what he asked for.

“It was so amazing to watch our little fighter have his wish granted,” Melinda Beasley told Clarksville Now. “He was shocked and speechless. We have met some the most amazing people on Weston’s journey and we are truly blessed!”
