Update, 3 p.m.: The victim is Carlton Shaw of Clarksville, who is in stable condition, according to Sgt. Charles Gill.
Detectives have taken out aggravated assault warrants for Akeem Abdul Baker, Gill said. Anyone who knows Baker’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A person was found shot in northwest Clarksville late Thursday night.
At 11:19 p.m., Clarksville Police responded to Lancaster Road to find a person with a gunshot wound, according to a news release from police Sgt. Charles Gill.
The person was transported to a hospital.
“Based upon preliminary investigation it appears to be an isolated incident with an intended target,” Gill said.
“At this time the investigation has provided no evidence or reason to believe that the public is in any additional danger.”
