CLARKSVILLE, TN – Justin Swallows has been a part of the Clarksville Academy family for over four years now, serving as the school’s play-by-play voice for varsity football and basketball. His background in media sales and his passion for bettering the student-athlete experience led him naturally into his new role as the school’s development assistant with a concentration on corporate giving.
Swallows has been broadcasting high school sporting events on radio and television since he was 15 years old, and he’s proud to continue serving as the voice of the Cougars. He studied sports broadcasting at Austin Peay State University and currently supports APSU athletics as an active member of the Monocle Society. Justin will continue the tradition of broadcasting athletics for the Cougars, focusing on the varsity football and basketball games and signings, athletic announcements and more.
Jennifer Hinote, Head of School, said, “Justin has always been an asset for Clarksville Academy. His pride and dedication to our school continued to shine in all he did for our athletic programs. Earlier this year, we decided to expand our development office and focus on corporate giving. I knew this was a role meant for Justin. His sports broadcasting knowledge is also invaluable.
“I look forward to his expanding the coverage of our athletic program. I am excited to have him join our team and look forward to what he will do for our school,” she said.
Justin will begin work immediately and can be reached at jswallows@clarksvilleacademy.com.
