David Emerson Rose, age 70, passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at his home in Springfield after an extended illness.
Rose entered into this life on November 12, 1950 in Robertson County, Tenn. to the late James and Gracie Ann Rose. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching old war movies. Though he spent his working life doing many things, he spent most of those working years tobacco farming.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by brothers Edward Rose, Larry Rose, Richard Rose, Wilson Price and a granddaughter, Brianna.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Rose; children, Angela Holt, Cheryl Pendleton, Nancy House, Stacy Rose (JR) Martinez, Kimberly Rose (Robert) Lunsford, Tasha Knight, David Linn Rose, Joshua Dewayne Rose and Christopher Dalton Rose and siblings, Caroline Clendenin and Leo Rose. He was also the proud grandfather of 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. His family will receive friends from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at a later date at Kessee Cemetery.
