Update, 3:35 p.m.: Power has been restored throughout the area.
One vehicle was involved in the wreck, and the driver was transported to a hospital, according to police. There was no immediate word on the driver’s condition.
Update, 2:40 p.m.: Peachers Mill Road is back open, according to police.
There are still about 2,300 CDE Lightband customers without power.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Peachers Mill Road is closed just north of 101st Airborne Division Parkway, between 101st and Abraham Drive.
The road was closed at about 11 a.m. after a utility pole was damaged in a wreck. It will remain closed until the pole can be repaired, according to Clarksville Police Detective Michael Patterson.
About 3,500 people lost power in the surrounding area in an outage that appears to have been caused by the incident.
Drivers reported that the traffic light at 101st and Peachers Mill is out. Drivers are reminded that when a traffic signal is out, the intersection is treated as a four-way stop.
At noon, traffic on 101st was backed up in both directions on either side of Peachers Mill. Drivers should avoid the area if they can.
