CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Radical Mission Compassionate Ministries is hosting another Grocery Shopping Experience Saturday, May 15, from 9 a.m. to noon, inside Community of Hope Church at 150 Richview Road for those who are in need of food.

Families are invited to come by, shop and pick out free groceries. There will be a variety of pantry goods and refrigerated food products, along with personal hygiene items. Radical Mission gave away close to 10,000 pounds of food at their Grocery Shopping Experience in 2020.

“We care about our neighbors, and we are here not only to offer food assistance, but to also offer friendship, support and the love of Christ,” said Jon Vaughn with Radical Mission.

Social distancing and the wearing of masks will be practiced and encouraged at the event.

Radical Mission is asking for volunteers who are needed on Friday, May 14, from noon-4 p.m. for setup, and Saturday, May 15, from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. to help with shopping and loading items into vehicles. To sign up as a volunteer, go to radicalmission.org/volunteer.
