Update, 11:10 a.m.: Clarksville Police Detective Michael Patterson confirmed that a shooting occurred at approximately 9:30 a.m. Monday morning in the 300 block of Treeland Court.
One individual was shot and taken to the hospital, Patterson said in a news release. His condition is unknown at this time.
Patterson added that contact has been made with the other individual that was involved in the incident, and that there is no threat to the public.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – There are reports of a shooting in progress on Treeland Court in Clarksville.
According to a post on Clarksville-Montgomery County Crimewatch Facebook page, the reports were heard through an EMS scanner. The listener also reported that the scene had been secure, and one person suffered a gunshot wound to the chest.
Residents have reported a heavy emergency response and seeing a LifeFlight helicopter landing in the area.
Clarksville Now reached out to CPD spokesman Detective Michael Patterson, who could not yet confirm any information.
Treeland is off Trenton Road in northeast Clarksville.
