Beth Mathis, age 71 of Big Rock, TN passed away April 1, 2021, at Vanderbilt Hospital, Nashville, TN. She was born September 22, 1949, the daughter of the late Ervin Clyde and Hazel Wyatt Wortham.
Beth was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a healthcare worker and office manager. She was a faithful servant and member of Ft. Donelson Pentecostal Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bracy C. Mathis, and sister, Ouida Buchanan.
She is survived by her loving family; daughters, Keron Tanaro (Albert) Mt. Juliet, TN, Sharon Glenn (Ralph), Ashland City, TN, Joy Neal (Kenneth), Mt. Juliet, TN; brothers, Louis Wortham, Clarksville, TN, Sammie Wortham, Cunningham, TN; sisters, Nancy Langston, Dover, TN, Sue Threatt, Big Rock, TN; grandchildren, Amanda Tanaro, Josh Glenn, Andrea Kenselaar, Ryan Tanaro, Meleah Clark and twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at 11 a.m. and continue until the hour of the service at 1:00 p.m. at Ft. Donelson Pentecostal Church of God with Bro Jerry Moore and Brian Gelande officiating. Burial will follow at Grace Gardens.
Those serving as pallbearers are Kenny York, Ricky York, Doug Stafford, Ira Henry, David Miller, Josh Miller, Brandon Henry, and Isaac Gelande.
