CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce has added Fanelli’s Deli and Market as new member with a ribbon cutting Tuesday, March 30.
Owner Lynn Sodeman said food has always been an important part of her family’s life, and food is love.
“Fanelli’s is dear to my heart – it’s my family name. My grandparents are Sicilian, and my grandmother was the cook in the family and taught all of us how to cook. We missed our food from home; there’s things from western New York that we couldn’t get here and felt we needed to bring,” Sodeman said.
The shop offers Italian dishes, a variety of imported cheeses, salamis and sauces, similar to what you would find at a deli in New York.
They describe the store as a little New York, a little Italian, and a lot of good food along with authentic specialty deli and gourmet retail items.
Fanelli’s Deli and Market is inside the City Market at 120 Franklin St. in downtown Clarksville. They are open Tuesday-Saturday 7 a.m.-7 p.m., Sunday 8 a.m.-2 p.m., and closed on Monday. Visit the Fanelli’s Deli and Market Facebook page or call 931-919-2588.
