TRAFFIC UPDATE: Interstate 24 mostly clear following wreck in Clarksville

Update, 5:05 p.m.: Traffic is now mostly clear.

Update, 4:55 p.m.: The shifting backup has moved to Exit 8 and is about a mile long.

Update, 4:30 p.m.: Traffic is mostly clear now except near the wreck scene at mile marker 7.

Update, 3:15 p.m.: Eastbound traffic is backed up to mile marker 2 but is clearing.

There was a minor wreck near Exit 11 with debris in the roadway, according to dispatch.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Interstate 24 is at a standstill in Clarksville, for the second day in a row.

At 3 p.m., eastbound traffic was backed up from about mile marker 7 to Exit 11.
