Update, 4:20 p.m.: Traffic is mostly clear now on Interstate 24.
A wreck on Trenton Road has northbound traffic backed up to Winding Bluff Way.
Update, 4 p.m.: Traffic is moving now through the entire area, but it remains slow.
Update, 3 p.m.: It’s getting worse again, with traffic at a standstill all the way back to Exit 8, and rush hour looming.
Update, 2:30 p.m.: Traffic remains at a standstill from about mm 6 to mm 2.
Update, 1:35 p.m.: Traffic is clear until about mile marker 6, but remains at a standstill from mm 6 to about mm 2.
Update, 1:10 p.m.: Traffic is moving from Exit 8 to just before Exit 4 but remains slow. Traffic remains at a standstill around Exit 4.
Update, 11:35 a.m.: While traffic at the front of the line now appears to be moving, the standstill traffic backup on I-24 has reached Exit 8.
Update, 11:15 a.m.: Westbound traffic is now backed up to mile marker 6.
Eastbound traffic is clear.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A wreck has traffic at a standstill on Interstate 24 in Clarksville.
At 10:45 a.m., westbound traffic was backed up from the wreck scene, near mile marker 2, to just past Exit 4.
