CLARKSVILLE, TN – Loren Richards of Clarksville was recently announced as the new bishop of the Kirkwood Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
On Sunday, Feb. 21, the Church announced the creation of the Kirkwood Ward, whose members reside in the Port Royal, Rossview, Kirkwood, and other areas. The addition of this Latter-day Saint congregation makes a total of seven such Church groups in Clarksville with a membership of close to 4,000 people.
Bishop Richards shared his feelings about becoming a bishop: “I have always had a desire to serve my friends and neighbors and look forward to building strong connections in the Kirkwood Ward and within the Clarksville community.”
