CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Two people were arrested this week in a drive-by shooting on Roselawn Drive.

Court documents obtained by Clarksville Now reveal that Clarksville Police responded to a home on Roselawn in the Woodlawn Estates area on Saturday, Nov. 14, after receiving multiple reports of shots fired.

When officers arrived, they found the home that had been shot at multiple times while several people were inside.

Witnesses who were standing on the front porch told officers that a white Chevrolet Impala drove past the residence several times. According to a press release from CPD, investigators initially thought the passenger of the car fired the shots.

However, the investigation found the driver, Richard Kenny Woodson, 35, was the shooter, according to court documents. Deshaya Allen, 19, was the passenger.

During an interview Allen admitted to pointing out the residence to Woodson, who then opened fire, court documents show. It is also stated in the documents that she had been having verbal and physical fights with some of the residents.

Woodson was booked into the Montgomery County Jail and charged with attempted murder. He was out on bond for a previous homicide charge at the time.

Allen was booked into the Montgomery County Jail and also charged with attempted murder.

CPD is asking that residents in the area who own surveillance cameras send in any footage they might have.
