UPDATE: Traffic signal working now at Riverside and North Second Street

Update, 4:40 p.m.: The traffic signal is fully operational now.

Previously:

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The traffic signal at Riverside and North Second Street was out at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday.

The signal was flashing red, and traffic was backed up in all four directions from the intersection.

Drivers are advised to avoid the intersection if possible, and remember that when a traffic signal is out, the intersection becomes a four-way stop.
