CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Looks like people better be ready for Halloween trick-or-treaters this year. COVID-19 or not, the vast majority of families in our Clarksville Now informal online poll said they plan to join in on the fun.

City officials have already said that, as is usual, they have no plans to weigh in – trick-or-treating is not a city-regulated activity. Fort Campbell Housing is allowing trick-or-treating, with several safety measures in place.

Here are the results of our poll, with over 1,200 respondents as of Monday morning.

Will you be trick-or-treating this Halloween?

  • 70.2% – Yes, we’re going house to house or giving out candy.
  • 23.3% – No, we’re staying in with our porch lights off.
  • 6.6% – No, we’re going out for some other Halloween event.
