CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) -The Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County is hosting a Dog Day Sidewalk Sale on Thursday, November 5 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at their office, 940 Tennessee Avenue, behind Arby’s on Riverside Drive.

Humane Society Executive Director Amy Shaver said COVID-19 restrictions have prevented public access inside their building over the last few months and has caused the organization’s Re-Tail Store to overflow with donations from the community.

The larger items from the store will be taken outside to the parking lot and the smaller items will remain inside so shoppers are asked to be sure and wear a mask for limited entry inside the building.

Shaver added that new and gently used pet supplies will be available at a fraction of the cost of retail prices and will include plastic crates, folding wire kennels, pet beds, food dishes, covered litter boxes, pooper scoopers, toys, leashes, and much more. Photos of some of the items can be found on the organization’s facebook page.

Cash or credit/debit will be accepted. Photos of many of the items featured at the sale can be found on the Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County facebook page and for more information email humanesociety@clarksville.com.
