CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Four people have died from COVID-19 in Montgomery County during the last week, with 2 of those reported Saturday.
There was 1 death Monday and 1 on Tuesday, according to data provided by county Health Department Director Joey Smith.
Smith has said almost all of the deaths locally and statewide have been in the elderly and otherwise “vulnerable population,” and for that reason, it’s important to keep these groups safe from exposure to the coronavirus.
The seven-day average of new cases in Montgomery County rose this week, but has been coming down since Wednesday.
