CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Potential visitors got a first look at the new Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel this week, after the facility opened its doors to the media. The venue will open Friday, Sept. 18, with a 128-room hotel, four restaurants, ballroom spaces, an outdoor stage for concerts, and an indoor equestrian center.
Almost immediately, readers raised concerns about betting through the 1,300 state-of-the-art HRMs, or “historical racing machines” – essentially video gambling machines that allow people to bet on races that have already taken place.
How do you feel about gambling at the new venue?
