He lived in Clarksville, Tennessee for most of his adult life and served with the United States Postal Service located in Nashville, Tennessee for over 27 years.
Marchese was probably one of the kindest and loving people you could ever meet. He will be deeply missed. He loved spending time with his family, taking pictures, and going to concerts with his friends. Marchese enjoyed cooking new recipes, playing video games, and trying out new electronics with his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his parents Monroe, Jr. and Judy Gildersleeve; sister Monrita Tate (Ralph) and brother Marcus Gildersleeve, Sr.; nieces and nephews: Mariah Hughes, Tyler Hughes, Jaylin Gildersleeve, Myla Gildersleeve, Marcus Gildersleeve, Jr., and Jalea Gildersleeve; and devoted companion, Cassandra Nelson.
