Nannie Bell Rye Edwards, age 79 of Erin, TN, passed away Friday, July 17, 2020.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 20, 2020, at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Jamie Seals officiating. Burial will follow in Hildreth Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 12:00 p.m. noon until the hour of service Monday afternoon.
Nannie Bell was born on January 4, 1941, in Carlisle, TN daughter to the late Lim and Jessie Manners. Upon graduating from W.T. Thomas School, Nannie Bell graduated from Austin Peay State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. She went on to teach several years at W.T. Thomas School, something she was extremely proud of. Nannie Bell had a passion for floral arranging and loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Nannie Bell was preceded in death by her six siblings.
Survivors include her loving daughter, Jackie Bell Meadows; grandchildren, Amanda Schmidt (Corey), Lynn Broadbent (Dustin), Lorne Meadows (Billie); great-grandchildren, Parker Broadbent, Cooper Broadbent, and Jackson Meadows. Nannie Bell also leaves behind her sister, Elsie McClain.
The family will serve as pallbearers.
