CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Members of Clarksville’s three Rotary Clubs, the Clarksville Rotary Club, Clarksville Sunrise Rotary Club, and Clarksville Sunset Rotary Club met at Rotary Park Wednesday evening for a dedication of the Rotary Park Pavilion as the Frank McGregor and James Holleman Pavilion.

McGregor and Holleman were not only Rotarians, community leaders, and business partners, they were instrumental in the purchase of the land for Rotary Park.

The light rain coming down didn’t dampen the spirits of Rotarians at the meeting which was also a kick-off for 2020-2021, as club leaders laid out the plans for their partnership in many more programs and projects for the citizens of Clarksville-Montgomery County.

With the COVID-19 pandemic, racism and so many suffering from a financial loss the three local Rotary clubs have embraced the Rotary International theme of “Rotary Opens Opportunities” and will have a Clarksville theme of “Healing Hearts,” by healing one heart at a time with “Healing Heart Moments”.

Rotarians will be supporting the upcoming Stuff the Bus event to collect school supplies for students and teachers in Clarksville-Montgomery County Schools, a Christmas Tree Extravaganza & Auction, and more projects planned for the future.
