Prom is known as a rite-of-passage before graduation, complete with glitzy gowns, debonair duds and a night of fun and friends as seniors mark the milestone of impending adulthood.
For the Class of 2020, the coronavirus pandemic led to the cancellation of their proms, but a local event will give seniors a chance to make fun memories complete with friends, photos, and dancing the night away!
The Farewell Formal 2020 sponsored by Wedding Belles and The Ruby Cora Event Center will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at the Ruby Cora event center, located at 2300 Gunn Road, Adams, Tenn.
The elegant event will take place from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Tickets are $35 for singles and $65 for couples. Tickets do not include meal, but light refreshments will be served.
There are 250 tickets available that will be sold on a first-come first serve basis. Organizers plan to open up another date for more 2020 seniors to have a chance to have a prom-like experience.
All tickets must be purchased online in advance at Eventbrite and no tickets will be sold at the door.

Seniors this is for you!
Attendees and ticketholders must be a local 2020 graduate, but can bring a guest of their choice.
Public schools, private schools, Christian schools, home school, Fort Campbell and surrounding county seniors are welcome to attend.
Only ticketholders will be allowed on the premises.
School Resource Officers or similar authority will be in attendance throughout the entire event to ensure safety.
Dress to Impress!
Formal attire is required so bring all the glam, posh, swagger and classy fashion you had planned for your prom.
A professional photographer will be on hand to capture all the memories and moments.
A VIP Outdoor package will be offered and sold in advance online. This will include early entrance and a stunning setting for photography.

A few house rules
Temperatures will be taken at the door to ensure the safety of all attendees. If you have a temperature, you will not be admitted no exceptions.
There is a no refund policy and refunds will not be given for any reason, except the event being canceled. In the event, of a cancellation, refunds will be issued within two weeks of the scheduled event.
The event will not be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather.
No alcohol, weapons or illegal substance will be allowed on the premises.
Parking is free but the parking lot must be cleared by 11:15 p.m.
The Farewell Formal 2020 will be a magical, memorable night for Class of 2020 seniors. Besides great photos seniors will leave with the life lesson that nothing can stop them, not even a pandemic, from making the best of any situation.
