CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Beachaven Winery announced Thursday they will suspend their 2020 Jazz on the Lawn season.
The annual summer concert series is traditionally held May – October each year. Average attendance at the concerts is around 3,000 people.
“It is up to all of us to slow the spread of COVID-19. Per CDC recommendations this means avoiding large gatherings. We have carefully studied the TN Pledge and sought guidance about large events like Jazz on the Lawn,” the winery said in a statement. “As we continue to see the Coronavirus spread in our state, we feel it would be irresponsible to host an event of such a large scale. It is our responsibility to provide a safe environment for our community and staff. Therefore, with our community’s best interest in mind, the 2020 Jazz on the Lawn series is suspended until further notice. This was not an easy decision and we appreciate your understanding and patience during these trying times.”
The winery is still available for curbside pick-up and customers can also place online orders.
