CLARKSVILLE, Tenn (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville Police ask the public’s assistance in locating a suspect who is believed to have stolen wallets from two elderly women at two different locations on Monday, June 8.
On June 8, at approximately 12:40 p.m, an elderly woman was shopping at the Dollar General at 1945 Madison St. Suite B when her wallet was stolen by an unknown suspect.
At 1:00 p.m, another elderly woman was shopping at Wal-Mart (2315 Madison St.) when someone took her purse from her cart while she was bent over picking up an item. Wal-Mart Loss Prevention located the purse, but the victim’s wallet had been removed.
After reviewing video footage, it is believed that the same suspect (pictured below) is responsible for both thefts.
