CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW)- Clarksville Police are investigating a wreck that left a bicyclist critically injured.

On Monday, May 25 at about 10:48 p.m., a green 2007 Honda Element driven by Rhyan Sinclair was traveling eastbound on College Street.

As the vehicle proceeded through the intersection at Eighth St., a bicyclist, Douglas Perryman, was traveling northbound on Eighth Street and collided with the passenger side of the Honda Element.

Perryman was transported by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt Medical Center where he is currently in critical but stable condition.

Sinclair agreed to provide a blood sample for chemical testing.

No charges have been filed at this time.
