A Celebration of Life service for Patricia Ann Jacks, age 69 of Clarksville, will be Saturday, March 14, 2020, at 1:00 PM at Dominion Worship Center. A private burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY on Monday where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, from 11:00 AM until the hour of service at the church. Patricia passed away on Friday, March 6, 2020, at Centennial Medical Center. She was born on February 23, 1951, in South Bend, IN to Robert and Vernell Young. Patricia was the Mother of Dominion Worship Center. She had a wonderful gift for story-telling and enjoyed shopping, spending time with family and friends, and caring for children. Many of those children she considered her own, young and old.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Jacks; siblings: Earnestine Young, Robert Young, Rose James, and Laurie Willimas; and grandson, Deandre. Patricia is survived by her children: Shawn Jacks, Tasha Jacks, and Eddie (Elizabeth O’neal) Jacks; siblings: Para (Kevin) James, Kay (Senot) Hall, Darlene Lax, Annette Lax, Richard (Lona) Lax, and Milton Lax; grandchildren: De’Anna, Eddie, Blake, Bryce, Shawn, and Deangelo; and 8 great-grandchildren.
