CLARKSVILLE, Tenn (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Local bankers raised over $21,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Clarksville at this year’s Bankers’ Challenge Bowl For Kids’ Sake Tuesday, beating last year’s total of $19,272.
The Bankers’ Challenge brings local banks and credit unions together to support the community through BBBS, a nonprofit organization that pairs youth facing adversity with adult mentors to ignite their potential and guide them toward success.
This year’s participants included F&M Bank, Cumberland Bank & Trust, Fortera Credit Union, First Financial Bank, Altra Federal Credit Union, Planters Bank, US Bank and Legends Bank
F&M took home the prize for Top Fundraising Banks, collecting a total of $6,721.
US Bank won Highest Fundraising Team with $3,200.
Legends Bank led the event with the most teams.
BBBS will be back at the Pinnacle for their Community Bowl For Kids’ Sake on Saturday, April 18. Members of the community can put together a team or sign up as individuals.
