Armored Trucking Academy LLC chose to make Clarksville their primary location, because of the proximity to Fort Campbell. They pride themselves on being a patriotic company and are committed to helping soldiers as they transition out of the military.

“We are here to provide education and experience for anyone wanting to start or grow a career in the trucking industry,” said Kris Gempler with Armored Trucking Academy LLC. “We provide a 4 week class that includes the permitting process, testing, overall general knowledge as well as basic skills (backing) and driving. The trucking school does provide vehicles and trailers for all students going through our 4 week program.”
The academy will also offer third party CDL testing for outside companies. This option for testing does not include the use of academy vehicles, and students would have to provide their own vehicle for outside testing.
Utilizing the Campbell Strong Workforce Partnership grant to assist the training for Soldiers and or spouses the academy hopes to quickly fill the shortages within the CDL community for local daily routes as well as the opportunity to go over the road with multiple partnering companies.
