MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. (CLARKSVILLENOW) The Southeast Festivals and Events Association’s (SFEA) is a multi-state regional organization highlighting the best and brightest in the event industry. Oak Grove Tourism continues to be a leader in the industry, taking home top honors for the fifth year in a row for several community events.

The announcement came at the annual SFEA Kaleidoscope Awards were held in Muscle Shoals, AL on February 25.  The ceremony was held in conjunction with the organization’s Annual Conference. Top festivals and events throughout the southeast were recognized for their outstanding contribution to the events industry. This year had a heavy list of contenders with 171 entries from seven states.

“I am very excited to have our festivals recognized again this year,” said Traci Cunningham, executive director of Oak Grove Tourism. “This is the fifth year that we submitted for the SFEA Kaleidoscope Award and I am proud to say we have continued our winning streak.”

Oak Grove Tourism will bring home two awards. The Butterfly Festival received a Bronze Award for ‘Best Children’s Event’. In addition, Spring into Summer Salutes Fort Campbell Festival received a Bronze Award for ‘Best Creative Idea’.

“Our festivals continue to grow every year and they surpassed my original expectations long ago,” Cunningham said. “I can’t express enough how proud I am of my team, my board and most importantly the Oak Grove Community who continue to support us and help make these festivals such a great success. I was very pleased to see The City of Hopkinsville finally submitted their events to SFEA and I am so happy that they won. Again, congratulations to all winners. We most certainly made Christian County, Kentucky look good!”

Oak Grove Tourism will continue with their Spring Into Summer Festival plans, recently announcing country artist Dylan Scott as the headliner for the 13th-annual event. (Read More)
