A Celebration of Life service for CPO Donald Keith Moore(Ret), age 83 of Hammond, LA will be Monday, March 2, 2020, at 12:00PM with Rev. Ted Denny officiating. Burial will follow at KY Veterans Cemetery West with full military honors.
The family will visit with friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Monday. Donald passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2020. He was born on September 20, 1936, in Ashland, KY to Delbert Moore and Opal Clark who precede him in death. Donald retired after 24 years of service in the United States Navy. He is also retired from the Police Dept after 18 years with the Clarksville Police Department and the Plaqumines Parrish Sheriff’s LA. He also enjoyed traveling and spending time with his wife.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Darlene Moore; children: Walter (Melissa) Moore, Susan (Garry) Cyr, Melissa (Kevin) Lopez, and Donita (John) Piper; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
