CLARKSVILLE – Following the final full weekend Ohio Valley Conference road trip, Austin Peay State University men’s and women’s basketball are set to wrap up the 2019-20 regular season with a Senior Day doubleheader, Thursday, against Morehead State; before traveling to Murray State, Saturday, for the First Financial Bank Battle of the Border and regular-season finale.
To preview a weekend full of basketball, head coaches Matt Figger and David Midlick join the Austin Peay Coaches Show, starting at 6 p.m., Tuesday at Buffalo Wild Wings on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard presented by Five Star Radio Group and the Hand Family Companies.
This week, Figger and Midlick will join host Brian Rives to recap a weekend full of Ohio Valley Conference Basketball in the state of Illinois. The men’s and women’s teams each picked up wins against SIU Edwardsville, Thursday, but both squads fell on the road, Saturday, against Eastern Illinois.
Figger, Midlick, and Rives will also preview the final regular-season weekend of OVC basketball, as the Governors will host Morehead State, Thursday, for Senior Day and the home-finale in the Dunn Center. Then on Saturday, the Govs will travel to Murray, Kentucky, for the First Financial Bank Battle of the Border rematch against Murray State.
Presented weekly, the Austin Peay Coaches Show will feature Austin Peay head basketball coaches Matt Figger and David Midlick throughout the Governors basketball season. Fans can join Figger, Midlick, and host Brian Rives each Tuesday at the newly-renovated Buffalo Wild Wings. Located on Hampton Place, just a stone’s throw from Wilma Rudolph Boulevard, Buffalo Wild Wings returns for its third season as the host location for the Austin Peay Coaches’ Show. In addition to the show, fans will be able to enjoy Buffalo Wild Wings’ BOGO traditional wings special every Tuesday.
