CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) -The RJ Corman Bridge will be illuminated in blue tonight by Montgomery County government to honor National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.
On January 9th each year, citizens take the lead to show support on National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. Law Enforcement Officers of every rank and file have chosen a profession that puts their life on the line every day for their communities.
To show appreciation, businesses such as Starbucks on Wilma Rudolph and Madison Street, and Home Depot had coffee and treats delivered to the Clarksville Police Department and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department.
Many took to social media to celebrate the special day.
