CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Produced by The Downtown Clarksville Association, First Thursday Art Walk is a free, self-guided tour spanning a 5-block radius that combines visual art, live music, engaging events and more in the heart of Downtown Clarksville.
With over 10 venues, bars and businesses participating each month, the First Thursday Art Walk in Clarksville is the ultimate opportunity to savor and support local creative talent.
The February Art Walk will be held Feb. 6 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the shops and galleries on Public Square, Franklin Street, and Strawberry Alley. The participating businesses are listed below.
The Downtown Artists Co-op (96 Franklin Street)
Downtown Artists Co-op is proud to present the 2014 Juried Photography Exposition at the DAC Gallery, 96 Franklin Street for the opening reception of the 2014 Juried Photography Exposition, Thursday, February 6th, 5-8 PM.
Edward’s Steakhouse (107 Franklin Street)
Stop in and warm up in Edward’s Steakhouse during the February First Thursday Art Walk.
The Framemaker (705 North 2nd Street, Ste B)

The Framemaker proudly presents an instant photograph exhibit by Alison Hamilton. This exhibit is part of Clarksville’s First Thursday Art Walk on February 6, 2014. An opening reception will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The exhibit will remain on display at the Framemaker throughout the month of February during normal business hours (Mon. through Fri. 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.).
The Runner’s Hub (127 Franklin Street) hosts group runs around Historic Downtown Clarksville every Thursday evening at 5:30. They will be hosting a group run on Art Walk Thursday evening at 5:30 pm as well.
The Roxy Regional Theatre – Peg Harvill Gallery (100 Franklin Street)
The Peg Harvill Gallery at the Roxy Regional Theatre is pleased to host local artist Cynthia Marsh for the February Art Walk.
Additional gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Customs House Museum (200 S. 2nd Street)
The Customs House will have the following exhibits on display during the February First Thursday Art Walk.
The Photography of David Smith, Neil Crockarell: The Sewing Room, TACA Regional Exhibition, and Of Glaze & Kiln: The Art of Melody & Ken Shipley
Couture Crush (101 Franklin Street)
Couture Crush will be hosting an evening to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation during the First Thursday Art Walk in February.
Rogate’s (115 Franklin Street)
Rogate’s Boutique will feature the work of local photographer, Cliff Whittaker, which will be available at Rogates Boutique for the First Thursday Artwalk in February and will remain on exhibit all month.
L&N Train Station ( 189 10th Street)
The Clarksville/Montgomery County Arts and Heritage Development Council will host an opening reception for an exhibit by Northwest High School art students of Shawn Scott from 5 to 6 p.m. as part of the February ArtWalk.
Sweet Memories Candy and Gift Shop (131 Franklin Street)
Stop in during the February First Thursday Art Walk and enjoy a Valentine’s Day craft for the kids and watch homemade chocolate covered strawberries being made.
