MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Cumberland Connect recently released a Fiber to the Home project Status Map on their website, which provides information on projected construction progress for members. Crews and employees are working swiftly in the field and behind the scenes to prepare for launch of their broadband services in 2020.
CEMC’s service territory defines the area in which Cumberland Connect will build its network. Due to the large geographical size and factors involved, the project’s completion comes with a lengthy timeline of 5-6 years.
“Keeping members informed about progress throughout the project’s timeline is front of mind and therefore, Cumberland Connect is committed to keeping their members in the know with frequent updates,” said Cumberland Connect creative director Kaitlyn Bonds.
The Fiber Status Map was designed and is now live on Cumberland Connect’s website. It depicts the first phase of construction, which is projected to pass over 15,000 homes and over 1,400 miles of electric lines.
Cumberland Connect has an aggressive schedule to build and expand their network as quickly and safely as possible. Phase 1 is projected to be complete and services available to members in Phase 1 by the end of 2020. In addition to providing members with emailed updates, Cumberland Connect will update the Status Map as the construction progresses.
