CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW)- A fire at a Clarksville home sent one residents to the hospital on Thursday afternoon.
At approximately 1:03 p.m. Battalion 3 District 2 crews from stations 5,6, and 7 were dispatched to 715 Eva Dr. to a house fire. Units arrived on the scene in five minutes and found heavy smoke and flames coming through the roof.
The homeowner was rescued from the backyard and was transported to Tennova Healthcare due to smoke inhalation. The fire was quickly brought under control.
The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time and is still under investigation.
