CLARKSVILLE, Tenn (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Fright on Franklin returns to Downtown Clarksville for the 11th year on Saturday, October 26, from 3-6 p.m.
Fright on Franklin is a free, family-friendly event featuring safe trick-or-treating, a hayride, costume contests, and more on Franklin Street in historic downtown Clarksville.
A costume contest will be staged at the City Hall/US Bank parking lot.
Categories include:
Ages 0-2 at 3:15 p.m.
Ages 3-6 at 3:45 p.m.
Ages 7-9 at 4:15 p.m.
Ages 10-12 at 4:45 p.m.
And group costumes at 5:15 p.m.
Preference will be given to original costumes in all age categories. Registrants are asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled time to check-in. All costumes should be in good taste and appropriate for a family event.
Prizes will be awarded for “Best Costume” in each age group and “Best Group.” Pre-registration must be completed online through Oct. 25. The contest is free to enter.
Fright on Franklin also will feature 70 trick-or-treat booths, Halloween-themed games, a hayride and more. To apply to be a vendor, visit www.ClarksvilleParksRec.com. Free booth space includes a 10-by-10 foot tent, an 8-foot table, and two chairs. Vendors are encouraged to decorate their space and required to provide goodies for trick-or-treaters.
