DOVER, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) –
A boat explosion at Leatherwood Resort and Marina in Stewart County led to a massive fire Sunday. Crews worked for several hours to put out the blaze.
In the end a total of seven boats were completely destroyed, three had extensive damage, and four were sunk. The Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency will be handling an investigation into the cause of the fire.
One person was airlifted to a nearby hospital with severe injuries.
