CLARKSVILLE, Tenn (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville police have cited 10 people and arrested another for patronizing prostitution via the internet.
The Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operations Unit conducts ongoing operations targeting those who would provide or solicit sexual services in exchange for money using the internet. An ad is posted online and the individuals who answer or place the ad negotiating various prices for services agree to meet an undercover officer at a designated location.
One suspect, Marion Jackson, 29, was additionally charged with resisting arrest and is currently being held on $1250 bond.
Prostitution is often linked to other crimes such as robbery, assault, drugs and human trafficking The 10 men cited in the most recent operation include:
