CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville Police continue to make arrests in connection with recent carjackings. Another 16-year-old juvenile has been charged for involvement in the July 19 – 21 crimes. This is the fourth arrest in connection with the string of weekend carjackings.
The 16-year-old was linked to the July 19 carjacking occurring around 1:30 a.m. at the 1500 block of Nolen Rd. A woman was forced into a vehicle in an attempt to have her extract money from an ATM.
The group was unsuccessful and the woman was returned home unharmed.
The 16-year-old has also been charged in connection with a robbery. The robbery took place on July 19 around 1 p.m. at a Kelly Ln apartment. A man was robbed at gunpoint by masked men who took hundreds of dollars in property.
This juvenile has been charged with Aggravated Kidnapping, Carjacking, and Aggravated Robbery. They are being detained at a juvenile detention facility.
