HAWKINS COUNTY, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – update: Carl has been found safe in Tampa, Florida and Ella is in custody.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) has issued a statewide Endangered Child Alert for a one-year-old boy from Hawkins County.
The Hawkins County Sheriff’s Office is searching for Carl James Carmichael. Carl is one-year-old, a white male with blonde hair, blue eyes, 2’6” tall, and 27 lbs. Carl has a serious medical concern.
Carl was last seen with his non-custodial mother, Ella Amish, in Hamblen County, TN on July 30, 2019.

Ella is a 30-year-old white female with brown hair, brown eyes, 5’2″ tall, and 160 lbs.
Ella may be driving a green Dodge Journey with Tennessee license plate 3R75L4.
