CLARKSVILLE, Tenn (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Tennessee Wildlife Federation is now accepting submissions for its fifth annual wildlife and landscape photo contest.
Participants ranging from amateur to professional photographers are encouraged to send in their best images of Tennessee wildlife. Additionally, landscapes are being accepted for the first time.
After the best photos are selected by a panel of judges, they will be featured in the Federation’s 2020 calendar across all of the Tennessee Wildlife Federation’s digital platforms.
Potential winners also have the chance to win a variety of prizes including gift cards, Federation apparel, a YETI cooler and a Patagonia duffel bag.
“Tennessee has so much to offer it’s impossible for one person to see and capture it all,” Tennessee Wildlife Federation chief development officer Kendall McCarter said. “That’s why getting to share our diverse wildlife and habitats through the photography of those who love it most is one of the highlights of the year.”
The deadline to submit photos is Aug. 31 at 11:59 p.m. Voting for the People’s Choice winner will be open to the public on Sept. 5.
